Top comments Xteve Tyler Xteve Tyler2 months ago this just proves the statement that archaeologists need engineers architects and a host of scientific doctrine at call to help understand their finds, A framework of "you find it, we will help explain it" relationship maybe? and here it takes a structural engineer to understand how to build a pyramid, and a revolutionary genius at that too. But because he opposes the narrow minded explanation of how it was made he gets little co operation from the official societies supposed to be studying them, so the archaeologists go blundering out, find some example of an ancient marvel of complex construction or staggering gearing systems ancient machine parts, like the antikythera mechanism because of pre conceived notions of what they consider was possible in the distant past, rather that what was actually possible, thus admitting our deficiencies because we could not do this today! convinced that the past generations were subservient to our present technological know how, these marvels are labelled as ceremonial jewellery or religious items, worse still pyramids labelled as tombs, (please where are the mummies?, why are they all being found in the valley of the kings or queens) these structures were not tombs, yet this myth still persists to this day, when they are confronted by something unknown a label is fastened, and there it stubbornly stays, dumped into a museum somewhere mislabelled religious jewellery, and anyone who has a more plausible theory is held up with red tape and bureaucracy till they are almost ready to give up. I applaud you Jean-Pierre Houdin the most feasible theory yet, still it opens even more questions which is a sign of a good working theory. It has to be so simple that we just overlook it. There is a lot of sand and water was not far away. It seems the answer should something to do with sand and water. Both of which can be accumulated in order to support or cantelever large stones. If the pyramids were built from the inside, I would be surprised. I have a theory that they filled each perimeter layer with sand and water to keep it stablilized and dug the wet sand inside, replacing the sand "tunnels" with stone. I believe they used sand to lift the stones via large, counterweighted, wooden levers. The stones could be passed from one lever to another and gently lowered by releasing the sand into another sand cache attatched to another lever (pre-loaded with stone) or simply dumped into the area surrounded by the stone perimeter as I mentioned above. There are two other key parts which I will leave out for now. I have been working this problem for years. The solution is simple. No ramps needed and less than 100 men onsite at a time required. Less than 50 men needed to get the stones from the quarry to the site. I promise, this was quite simple. The closer they got to the top, the less sand they needed. It also seems to me it would be pretty easy to lay to rest with some better data from that exposed corner of the pyramid they reference in the film. They just leave you hanging though, saying they are going to go back and check for air draft, thermal information.. then the fricking documentary ends?!?! This movie was made what.. 10 years ago? Have they not had enough time to get the information?? Wouldn't you want to find the answer when it seems so easy to prove/disprove? It's a single-feed system with a bottleneck at every corner to rotate the block 90 degrees. So much easier to build forms and fill them with Davidovitz's geopolymer concrete. Laborers carrying baskets of the stuff could have come up the main ramp to the king's chamber level, and then used wooden ramps to access the upper parts. The main ramp could have been dismantled at the end and used for nearby buildings. Reply 1 Edward Duane Griffith Edward Duane Griffith1 week ago (edited) It's a well know fact that Adam and Eve had wheels, the chimpanzees taught them. The point is that all engineers will tell you we don't have the machinery to move the larger pyramid blocks do today. I personally think they used anti-gravity. What the heck could I possibly know, I've had my finger stuck in my nose since I was three, it's been two years, now I'm five and my arm is so tired. Read more Reply 1 cvcoco cvcoco3 months ago why did the video end without showing the final step, the scans or removal of stones inside the notch to reveal the internal ramp? The 1986 sub-density study showed the possibility so what happened? If its not true, Jean Pierre threw away 10 precious years of life. Yeah aliens flying around the univers building pyramid that took them 20 yrs to build. Reply Daniel S Daniel S1 week ago Based on the fact that the pyramid of Giza was built in 20 years and has about 6.5 million blocks, it would call for placing a block about every 2.5 minutes. There is an explanation, but for some reason it is not being published. Think about it, 1 block every two and one half minutes! And they are heavy, at least a ton each. Reply C LC C LC1 month ago so many theories. is there anyone nowadays to really try to build a pyramid of that size and complexity using those 'theories' invented and see if it works? consider these real pyramids were built thousands years ago, and even nowadays we need engineers & architects to scratch their heads for years to come up with a theory, these pyramids are in one world : AMAZING!!! Google "ScanPyramids". Reply EverGreen1888 EverGreen18881 week ago you're right...architects were designing shitty buildings in ancient Egypt just like they are today instead of giving any structural evaluations of structures or how their shitty designs seem to miss the point of 'that's not structurally sound' or 'structurally impossible'. The Golden Gate Bridge was designed by a civil engineer. Architects should just stick to kitchens and interiors...am I wrong? Everywhere in the world the water Buffalo is the beast of burden even today they use carabao (water Buffalo) in the Philippines Thailand and most of the world to haul heavy loads.... And then these claims that it takes 1000 men or even 100 men to move 100,000 pounds.... I can move 100,000 pounds single handed and I am 53 yo and out of shape.... The idiots discount the use of tools that are made of materials that are repurposed after completion.... Such as large wooden capstans winches and Spanish windlass Chinese windlass and many more simple things that allow a single person to move huge weights using leverage...... Archemedes did not discover the lever.... And any person including dumb animals learn to use levers intuitively Read more Reply 2 View all 4 replies T Samuel Harrison T Samuel Harrison1 week ago jolllyroger1 & War Peace & Robert Mitchell, people please! A windlass is a wheel, a capstan is a wheel, the pyramids were built just before they got the wheel. And it is not true that if your lever is long enough even you could lift anything, since you must lift it enough fast enough to be relevant to the pace at which the project must be completed to be relevant instead of only in theory. In practice, if the lever gets very long the lever itself becomes so heavy as to become useless. If they were using logs like roller bearings in the grand gallery as shown, they were so close to having the wheel that they must have been experimenting with other precursors to the wheel as well. So they had roller bearings and not the wheel. I read that and say that sounds a lot like a wheel. Read more Reply Robert Mitchell Robert Mitchell1 week ago thanks for noticing me.
